Sujet: It is 2022. You are Bill Ford inaugurating the new building you brought in 2018.

Dear friends, we are gathered today in the lobby of this magnificent building to celebrate its inauguration. It is with pleasure that after four years of renovation, embellishment work, upgrading and numerous consultations with you, my dear colleagues who would be the privileged users of this building, I have the immense pleasure and the great honour to present to you today the new Ford building. We had at the heart of our company various locations, some of which were very old and did not facilitate internal communications, nor did they facilitate the group spirit to which I know you are very attached. As of next Monday we will be moving into our eight-storey building. Each office has been equipped with high-speed Internet access and all are air-conditioned and furnished with ergonomic furniture. All the administrative departments will have one or more floors depending on their size. We have reserved one floor for meeting rooms, the ground floor for a relaxation and catering area and the top floor for management. In a few minutes we will discover your spaces which I am convinced will meet your expectations. The management team and myself believe that this important and fundamental reorganization will allow us to develop and approach the coming years with confidence. This speech is only too long and I know you are impatient to discover your new space.  I invite you to accompany me upstairs and we will then go and take the friendship route. Thank you for your attention. 


Sujet: How can the place where people live contribute to their happiness 

A place to live must be peaceful and pleasant for the inhabitants. This balance is based on many factors. Such as the agreement between the inhabitants, the measures taken by the city and also its sense of belonging to it. A good understanding between neighbours avoids many problems. The actions taken by the city can improve the lives of its residents. For example, bicycle paths, sorting bins or dog parks. The sense of belonging is unique to each person. It can depend on the number of years of shared memories or simply on the pleasure one feels in it. All these factors make life easier and more enjoyable. Whenever possible, people choose a place to live that suits their tastes. For example, water sports enthusiasts will try to live near a lake or the sea to practice their favourite sport. Culture lovers (theater, music, museums) will rather live in cities. Men tend to be closer to what reassures them, so they also prefer to be close to family friends or acquaintances. This can be a double-edged sword because if it is not respected, happiness is no longer assured. Thus the place where one lives brings happiness but is itself subject to many conditions.

The movment’s goal March for our lives is a movement that takes place after the tragedy at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida on february 14. They plan « To harness the power of young people across the country to fight for sensible gun violence prevention policies that save lives ».  They want to stop the proliferation of more weapons because more than 100 lives are taken by the deadly epidemic of gun violence. Among young people, gun violence has become a top cause of death, second only to drug overdoses. They want to get it out of the Americans' heads that guns are the only way to solve a problem.
